Camp Wawbeek is an Easter Seals camp located in a wooded area near Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.  The camp is accessible for students of all physical abilities and features enclosed buildings with modern amenities.

Before departing for Camp Wawbeek, be sure you have packed all necessary clothing in order to be comfortable whether outside or inside during the weekend.  In addition, if a student has any medication or other special medical or dietary requirements, it should be noted on forms prior to or at registration.

With that said, this is a weekend to have fun, meet other students from Wisconsin and surrounding states, as well as learn how to become a Key Leader.  You will arrive at Camp Wawbeek on Friday afternoon, with the first session starting after dinner around 7 pm.  Following a good night’s sleep, Saturday features not only more educational and fun topics, but also includes an opportunity to apply some of the skills the students learned outside on the low ropes course, along with some other group activities.  On Sunday, the leadership weekend wraps up with students departing CampWawbeek around midday.

By the time Key Leader comes to an end, students will discover new ways to approach everyday situations, apply techniques to best resolve an issue they may encounter, and likely have a few stories about spending time at the scenic setting of Camp Wawbeek.
