Each year we hold Key Leader at Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells. If you have some time, walk around the camp you’ll notice signs or plaques near various buildings, the pool, walkways, and even the zip line out in the woods. Many generous individuals or groups helped to collect funds in order for these structures or areas to become a reality.
However, in order to raise those funds, it took a strong group of people to rally support for the cause, go out and find ways to collect money, and in many cases, lend a helping hand to build such places as the Kiwanis Café, boys and girls dorms, or dining hall. A great community of folks can be the guiding force in accomplishing a lot of things, and at the same time play a vital role helping in times of disaster or a need in town. Through all of that hard work as a community, the results in the end following a successful fundraiser can not only aid a great cause, but may have a ripple effect for years to come.
